Personally I think Nuno shouldn't be so defensive about A&M and their resume when bringing on guests. It's being a fan boy to constantly want praise about your team and trying to throw it in people's face when they are wrong about something.

What Aaron Torres tweeted at halftime is exactly how we were all feeling in that moment, I was probably saying worse things than he said.

Stop caring about Indiana, stop caring what people think about our schedule, stop having this little man syndrome about what people in the media say...they change their narratives and opinions like the wind to get clicks. Stop clicking.

Edit: I'll also admit I have no idea who this Aaron Torres guy is and I don't care what he has to say.

You've confessed, now repent, and turn your BAS around!

love nuno, love the whole show, its really well done and I listen every day.

That being said I would agree to some extent.

Like Elko said "None of us have ever been here before" that goes for the players, the staff and the fans. As we get more wins, we will get more respect, as we get more respect we will learn how to better deal with success.

At some point, if this plays out the way we all hope, we will learn to deal with criticism with a chuckle and a dismissal.

I don't dispute that A&M has had an extremely favorable schedule, that's fairly obvious. So have OSU and IU. I'm guessing this is a trend we will see for years to come, that the top undefeated teams had favorable schedules. I just think there's so much more parity these days that you probably aren't going to see the talent gap you used to see between #1 and #9. Seems that NIL has caused that.

It also doesn't matter at all because twelve teams are doing to make the CFP and we are going to find out. And the seeds 1-4 barely matter because, if you've seen last years playoffs and this year's projected bracket, the 1 and 2 seeds often have a much harder bracket than the 3 seed.

TLDR, I don't think we are going to see a dominant team walk through a "tough" schedule undefeated like we used to. That said, Ags by 50 over everybody.

Geez, why Texags radio is unlistenable

clicked on the link above and oh suprise suprise..Olin Buchanon is crying and complaing about something else.

If those guys just talked sports it would not be as bad.
The constant crying, oh poor us, everyone is out to get us, its a conspiracy, they all have an agenda BS gets so freaking old.
They get their feelings hurt over every little thing. Its like a bunch of 13 year old boys arguing at recess.

How Olin Buchanan is gainfully employed in sports media will always be a mystery to me

Do Marvin Zindler now!!!

Olin needs a catch phrase to make him palatable; the only reason I watched Zindler was to hear 'Slime in the ice machine!"

Sounds like an MLB player. No wonder he doesn't know football.

Did Nuno address this at all on the show this morning yet?

None of it matters here in the short term. It'll all play out over time, regardless.
The only thing semi-definitive about the rankings right now is keeping OhSt at #1 is legit (for now), still being undefeated and also being the defending Natty champ.

Beyond that, just let it play out.

All the talking heads and their opinions are just like other parts of their anatomy....they're all gonna have 'em, and most all of 'em are gonna stink.

Hard to predict SOS Preseason - #1 Texas, #6 Notre Dame, #9 LSU, #13 South Carolina, #15 Florida,

And yet no one questions their record

Rightfully so. They are the defending champs.

Auburn won a natty in 2010, then went 8-5 in 2011 and 3-9 in 2012. Teams change.
How many games has Ohio State lost this year? They've done nothing to be questioned.

This. Undefeated defending national champs, obviously they deserve to be number 1

Except a lot of teams would be undefeated with their schedule. Defending national champs was last year's team. This year's team has done little to show they're the same other than beat a handful of 7-3 also rans. Their best wins are a 7 point win over tu, who got beat by Florida and blown out by Georgia, and an 18 point win over Illinois who was blown out even worse by Washington and Indiana.

Not sure why you would apply last years result to this years standing.

I just wished Texags would've gone after Tom Hart w the same fervor as Nuno did Torres. What Tom Hart said was way worse and in front of a national audience

Even if this interview had never happened the show would be better off without having him on as a guest. I swear he is always on speaker phone in some airport or loud hotel lobby and the annoying background noise is just as loud as he is
