I wouldn't ever go above 4-6mg split up 3 times weekly if you don't absolutely HAVE to.

Also, don't bump your dose up until your weight loss stalls for awhile. Then bump it just a little bit to get things back in gear. You want to stay as low as possible for as long as possible.

I would also split it up at the beginning as well if you want to avoid any sides.

Thanks for the feedback. That makes sense. So, you think do 0.5mg twice a week to start?

Reta is a long game. Took me a while to get up to my 8mg dose and I still feel like I went too fast. Don't plan on titrating up until you've been on a dose for a few weeks.

That's a not a bad plan. Then I would go 0.5mg 3 times a week after the first few weeks depending on how you tolerate it.

I have been at .5 every third day for about two months, maybe a little more. No side effects. Still VERY effective at curbing food noise and appetite. In fact, some days I really have to force myself to eat. If anything I am probably not eating enough. Still losing weight.

Would suggest you may not need to automatically up your dose.

Starting my reta journey tomorrow. Picked up (5) 10mg vials from Peptira as part of a recent flash sale. Never done this before so want to ensure that I fully understand reconstituting, dosing, and any do's or don'ts while taking it.

Dosing:

Weeks 1-4 - 1mg weekly
Weeks 5-8 - 2mg weekly
Weeks 9-12 - 4mg weekly
Weeks 13-16 - 8mg weekly
Weeks 17+ - Up to 12mg once weekly

In all likelihood, I will plan to split the dosages once I hit week 13 so that I am not taking all 8mg at once. Will check back in here once I reach that point.

Reconstituting:

I plan to add 2mL of BAC water to my 10mg vial of lyophilized reta powder to end up with a solution that is 5 mg/mL. I'll pull 20 units into the 100 unit (1mL) syringe for the first 4 weeks so that I am taking 1mg per week.

I understand that the Hospira BAC water is only good for 28 days after initial use. Is that correct?

The reconstituted reta needs to be refrigerated, correct?

Any other do's or don'ts that I should be aware of?

Thanks!

Don't go in with any big plans on raising dosing. Slow and steady. I started at 0.5mg for 2 weeks. Then went to 0.5mg every Monday and Thursday. My current dosing is 0.75mg every Monday and Thursday

So 1.5mg a week is the highest I've got and I'm on week 8. Down 25 pounds and honestly next week I'm cutting to 1mg a week. Want to slow down on losing weight and work on adding muscle. This stuff almost works too good tbh

Also I've bought mine from Peptira also. It's good stuff. Bought from glacier aminos also it's good

THIS! THANK YOU.

Also BAC water is good for much longer than 28 days in my opinion. Just make sure it's good quality like hospira and sanitize the top of the vial each time and visually inspect. It'll be fine

I'm buying some syringes in advance from Amazon here in Australia. Hearing syringes are being taken down from Amazon back home.

Haven't seen that. People use them for Insulin, so would seem pretty strange to remove them. But not much surprises me anymore, so who knows. Bought a couple packs just in case.

Anyone ever ran KPV for inflammation and acid reflux/gerd? Just bought a 3 pack and want to try it for those reasons. Currently on Reta for a bit longer and GHK-Cu. I've read kpv compliments ghk-cu for skin issues.

Looking at protocols I think I'm gonna go 0.5mg 5 days on and 2 off. Any insight would be appreciated!

Yes I run KPV and ARA290 for inflammation when I'm not doing glow. Add ll-37 for gut issues. It really helped my wife on our previous peptide cycle. Oral bpc-157 is really good for gut issues as well.

I'll have to check on the dosages and get back to you.

Has anyone tried Pentadeca Arginate (PDA)? I am about to start injections for the shoulder pain I posted here about a while back.

Update: I took injections daily for 50 days while also staying out of the gym. I do feel some improvement but the pain is not completely gone. Not sure if it was the PDA or just resting my shoulders. I am starting another 50 days of injections but am back in the gym. Will be taking it easy on the shoulders still.

Are any of y'all going through doctors or ordering this on your own?

I got curious and googled, and it looks like there are doctors in Houston who claim to offer many of these peptides.

I've got a shoulder and left foot that seem like good candidates for BPC-157, but not even sure where to begin with it.

There was a story on Reddit the other day in one of the Peptide subs where someone was buying from a doctor for a long time and was curious about the QR code on the bottle so they scanned it to find out the doctor was buying them from a completely normal peptide place that everyone can buy from.

A lot of people here have used Peptira with good success.

On another semi-related note, this guy started an app where he is testing protein powders, supplements, and peptides to see if they really have what they say.

Just a random note here on GhK-Cu. I am 4 weeks into doing 2mg nightly.

I had a cyst removed from my chest over 10 years ago that left an ugly bright red keloid scar. Very lumpy and constantly itched. It's hard to believe but it's almost completely flat and smooth now and the redness is gone . Every week it's getting better. Kinda hard to believe to be honest. Other than the GLP1s my wife has been skeptical of peptides but even this has her wanting to try it now for a couple scars she has.

I know placebo effect is very real but when it's something you can actually see improving it's hard to deny.

Meant to report to the group, I started DSIP at night to start my new cycle at 1-2mg, and sleep has been outstanding. It has really helped me out stay asleep the whole night without waking up a bunch. Highly recommend giving it a try, but it needs to be at 1-2 mg. A lot of people don't get the desired results at lower doses.

That's next on my list.

Something I noticed while nearly finished with my cycle of tesamorelin: it increases GH, which increases your insulin resistance. My bloodwork shows some pretty bad insulin resistance numbers at the moment and my doctor and I are hoping they're just a bit exaggerated from the tesamorelin. I finish up my cycle of it next week (the primary goal was to cut visceral fat, which it very much did) then will take a month or so before getting blood work done again, hoping those numbers will come back into normal range.

Not to derail, but what should a Tesa cycle look like? I have been on it since Feb with pretty good outcomes, however, I am curious what my off ramp should look like? I had planned to take it through July but maybe thats too long?

Just started taking CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin last night. Will start NAD+ as soon as it comes in later this week.

I had a slight headache about an hour after injection that has continued into today. Is this normal? I have read mixed opinions online as to if headaches are normal or not.

I have a couple of vials left. I assume if I keep refridgerated they will be ok to use a few months later? What is the typical shelf life if any?

Several years if kept in a cool dark environment. After reconstituted you get a minor degradation of potency after 30 days. Although I think even that's overblown. I just took some Melanotan 1 the other day that I've had reconstituted sitting in my fridge since last summer, and there was zero drop in potency.

My Tesa cycle will have been 12 weeks. Didn't really start seeing too many results until 8 weeks in. Not really liking everything it's doing to my IR numbers so, as long as it's done a good job on the visceral fat, I probably won't be running it again.

You're on Reta as well right? That's kind of surprising your glucose numbers are jacked up. Do you also take like metformin or jardiance or anything?

My glucose numbers are bang on in the middle of normal, it's my fasting insulin that is high. So strange but fits an elevated GH profile.

i had AI go through this and summarize each one for me using Claude cowork.

it's probably in relation to the CJC/IPA. I take it at night and get a sting in the injection area, and within 10 min my face feels flush and sometimes a small headache occurs. But I'd say within an hour it all goes away (or I'm asleep and don't notice).

I've closing out a 4 week cycle and have really noticed lean muscle definition from this peptide.

Glad your results are good. You can run that for 8 weeks if you want. I would use tesamorelin instead of cjc as well in the future.

I have all of the same symptoms you are describing. Also, I find it hard to go to sleep after I take it. I am considering taking it in the morning to hopefully not impact my sleep. Did you notice the same energy boost?

Think I'm going to take a couple weeks off the Reta. Been having pretty bothersome stomach issues this week. Really bad reflux at night last couple nights. Plus just a general feeling of GI yuckiness.

Will give it a break then try some more. Any ideas on better managing that type of thing?

What's the dosage amount and are you doing weekly injections or a couple per week. A lot of folks have been splitting them into two or three shots per week to help with the GI issues.
