OT should be 15 minutes. 10 minutes seems strange.

Yup, if that ball hits his helmet and deflects up in the air before hitting the ground, the clock hits zero.

Think of it this way, this team ain't winning anything so better draft picks

Beating Green Bay improves the first round pick we get from them.

Green Bay is gonna win their division and be the one or two seed in the NFC so it's not gonna impact much from that standpoint. It's gonna be a mid to high 20s pick.

Detroit will easily win that division.

GB just lost to Cleveland last week and got tied by Dallas tonight. They had that big opening day win.

Not sure they're as good as everyone thought they were

Yeah that division is Detroit's to lose…

I don't think the GB D is nearly as good as they looked early on…think they were playing with some Micah-adrenaline to start the season…

Dallas was playing back ups on the line and GB couldn't do much with them…

With each team guaranteed a possession now, it should go back to 15:00

Dak has been unbelievable this season. He's playing at an mvp level but wont even sniff the trophy because of how ****ty the defense has been. We're officially living the Romo era again

I actually saw moments of competence from them tonight…

Not much, but enough to give me a morsel of hope that they won't completely tank this season…

Correct, seems like a massive oversight by the league when they changed the rules. If both teams get a possession no matter what you need more than 10 minutes. As it is it basically sets these games up for back to back field goals with very little to no time left.

We're only 4 weeks in and this is the 4th game to tie or come within 1-2 minutes of tieing.

I went to a game a long time ago that ended in a tie and it was so odd waking out of the stadium along with fans of the other team. Nobody could really talk trash and you pretty much shrugged your shoulders and said fun game.

Dallas is showering with two first round picks…

GB is showering with Parsons and a back issue…

Will this end in a tie? Crazy to me that the league keeps making changes to OT that make ties more likely.

Don't wory Dak, you can still win this if you get in the endzone on EVERY offensive possession.

Almost correct!!!
I wanna see our defense pissed off, not confused, maybe a little murder in their hearts Reload12, 11/4/11

This was the second highest scoring tie in NFL history, only behind a 43-43 tie between the Oakland Raiders and the Boston Patriots in the AFL in 1964. Slightly more than half of my fantasy points came from this game alone:

Dak Prescott: 30.96 points
Josh Jacobs: 31.70 points
Tucker Kraft: 10.60 points

My opponent got 26.28 points from Jordan Love, but -3 points from the Packers defense. That's why I have a 143.46 to 131.18 lead with one player remaining on both team: JK Dobbins for me, De'Von Achane for my opponent has remaining.

Unfortunately for GB, I fear they are not a Micah Parsons away from winning the Super Bowl.

Parsons is hurt.
My point isn't about Micah, it's about the rest of their team.

Jordan Love couldn't win a Super Bowl with two Micah Parsons on his team.

They mentioned on the Ticket this morning that a tie might just be the best case scenario regarding Cowboy draft picks for next year.

Well, a loss would have been better for draft picks.

With 17 total games and players going down like a freshman girl at a frat party, we really have no idea what teams will move up or down. Pretty sure a wild card will be determined by one game - or a half game??

Better for the Cowboys picks, but not for the GB picks they're getting from the trade, right?

I doubt Minnesota or Detroit are not beating Dallas this year, so this tie will hurt GB in the standingsa conference game they should've won

I looked it up this morning because I wondered the same thing. According to the Google, the guardian cap does work to a certain extent by acting as a damper between the helmets

The call was right. Packers still had 1 second remaining.

Sanborn got some deserved grief for his play tonight. He had perfect coverage on final play.

Yes, he was perfect on that play. Finally. But the funny thing is, if he'd covered and played like he did the entire rest of the game, then the catch is out of bounds and the game is over and the cowboys win.
