Only reason people are worried is the fake polls and Dems dumping 350 million in to the state

Dems are going all out with this midterms, seems to be do or die for them.

But the real nail in the coffin will be if they lose the 2028 Presidential election. If the R wins, he will likely get to pick 3 new SC justices, do the census correctly, shifting the house in a big way and taking election points from the Dem states. And he will likely get the Save Act passed..... Will be a total disaster for Dems

Talarico has raised over $40 million. He spent a lot of it during the first quarter of 2026 during the primary. He's got roughly $10MM cash on hand as of the end of April. Paxton has roughly $2.2MM on hand. If there's $350MM coming in, it's from PACs and SuperPACs (that number seems unrealistically high).

Because they want to grift money from out of state supporters and naive Texas Democrats who think West Coast minded candidates can win here.

It's not about them realistically winning office. It's about them getting more money.

They get the funds and continue being the minority party out of power so they can just keep blaming Republicans and not having to solve actual problems.

Beto at least had a youthful appeal. He was full of it, but he communicated in a generic, enthusiastic, way that appealed to young voters similarly to Obama when he started out.

Talarico is just flat out awkward and weird. He's more Mayor Pete than Beto or Obama.
