Because they buy into their own worldview. They own entertainment and education, so they think everyone thinks the same way.

This is the same as the run up to the Cruz/Allred 2024 election. Allred was a 2X (or more) better candidate than Talarico and Cruz won by 8.5 points.

This election isn't going to be close, Paxton or Cornyn.

Two things:
1. Allred has the charisma of a marshmallow.
2, Cruz ran against Allred in 2024 when Trump was on the ballot. Trump is not on the ballot this time, and midterm elections always have lower turnout.

A very nice lady that's been doing some canvassing for a local Brazos County candidate showed up to my door the other day for a second time. She did a great job the first time as her pitch got my vote (admittedly I don't follow local politics as much as I should).

I thought the guy (Kyle Greenwood) had already won and she informed me that he was ten votes short and in a runoff. I'd already planned to go vote Paxton anyway but then she told me she was undecided between Cornyn and Paxton as we had friendly banter again.

She had been bordeline duped into the mindest of this Talarico freak could win against Paxton but certainly not vs Cornyn and that it scared her. I said "Have you seen this guy? Nothing to be worried about. This is Texas. He's not winning this state".

But now that I've seen this clip there's everything to be worried about him way beyond politics. Hide your kids from this ******.
