I don't recall a leftist EVER access procurement and spending websites and posting contracts for projects they didn't even know about 48 hours ago.

Newsom spent $100 million power washing poop in San Fran ahead of Chairman Gee Ping Pong visited for APEC in 2023.

Obama and Newsom she end their time spreading human feces then paying to power wash it down open storm drains.

Trump seals a basin, fills it with pure water, and installs a system to keep it clear and clean.

But Trump is the monster.

did you find the change order or should we just automatically assume it was a cash drop to Eric or Don Jr?

Biden's Inflation Reduction Act allocated $210 million dollars to "climate resiliency" projects like $3 million for "Birds Not Mosquitoes" in Hawaii and millions for projects in Denali for "cultural resources and subsistence lifeways protection", but we are to believe this fixing of a 100 year problem is Trump wasting money.

Sean Duffy posted the tweet below about another daily example of Trump administration appointees fixing unfinished, broken, money-pit, contractimg debacles left by the Biden administration and previous Democrat administrations' neglect.

Fast, efficient, and critical to safety of air travel and commerce. Not a bit of credit will be given or acknowledged by leftists who are obsessing over a $13MM public works project for the national mall. Petty sniveling resentful losers.

Think it may have been Hannity but the comment was that Trump is fixing things not for political gain but to leave a legacy of fixing problems that have long been festering and pestering that people campaign on then don't fix and kick the can.

From Iran to reflecting ponds to ATC, Trump is fixing things and all the pearl clutching left and TDSers to do is tantrum about Orange Man Bad.

It wasn't too long ago bi-partisan Infrastructure Bill was passed and heralded by Washington that we were going to fix stuff, by God!

And now that Trump is actually executing some of that promise it's all bad.

And Trump has a long history of this in NYC. Ice rink was a mess, over budget, way behind on the schedule, etc. Trump stepped in and fixed it in a matter of months, for instance.

One of the talking heads mentioned how similar this is to the ice rink. Trump was always lauded for his work on the ice rink until something changed about a decade ago.

None of that is related to the renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting pool. If you actually paid attention, all I have advocated for is a normal bid process.

What specifically within the rationale laid out at length in the contract award do you take exception with?

You never did concede or retort on the fact that painting was a bit more than a single coat of blue paint from Home Depot.

And you certainly had questions as well on the competency of the firm, the timelines and the increased budget.

So you are now saying it was needed, awarding it to a woman owned business with experience in the area and working with governments, is completing the project on schedule per their contract, and that the change order for increased budget seems in order.

You contention is that you have some as yet disclosed issue with the rationale they did for the no bid procurement.

Is that correct?

The "normal bid process" can take years and has ridiculous amounts of red tape. Jon Stewart even lampooned it on one of his shows, I think in reference to the proposed rail system in California.

Obviously this is much less complex but I'd wager if we did utilize the "normal bid process" we'd be lucky if the pool was clean by the time Trump left office. July 4th is 6-7 weeks away.

A single coast of blue paint from Home Depot? That would make for one hell of an Eagle Scout project.

Never thought about it that way.

To be honest, I didn't know it had a name. I sure as **** didn't know they used block granite with grout set into swampy soil then filled it full of 10s of millions of gallons and said "great work gents, should be a beautiful places for birds to gather and defecate whilst we swelter in 90 degree, 100% humidity for months on end."

I cannot imagine the chemicals dumped into that thing over the years in various efforts to counteract Mother Nature.

Legitimately wondering where you are getting $25 million from as I haven't said that at all. In fact it looks like we even agree on the $13.1 million amount which far more than what was initially proposed.

This is what really grates on the all the leftists losing their minds over this. Just like the new East Wing Grand Ballroom addition on the White House and the new Air Force Ones, the Reflection Pond repairs will become positive part of Trump's legacy reminding the country how much he was able to accomplish, and the Democrats cannot stand it.

Just more of their petty, immature mentality. They really are miserable people.

They also were upset about Trump bringing in the National Guard which lowered crime rates. They don't talk about it anymore because it's another win for Trump.
