Two episodes in. Not real impressed so far. But, they've already had an incident that involved the old Train Station from Yellowstone, so maybe something interesting will happen with that.

It's NCIS in Wranglers.

I promised myself I'd give it at least three episodes before I made a decision to keep watching it. At this point, I don't have a lot of hope. The characters, writing, plot, etc are all below average to me.

So it's like every other show in the Sheridanverse?
And for this reason I'm out…rhoswen said:

I don't think Sheridan has much to do with this show

This is about what I expected it to be. A show where the fate of the world is on the line and the only person that can save it is an agent in the middle of Wyoming. Every week.

Network TV is far inferior in quality.

Sheridan is an interesting case study because his movies he's written as some of the best bangers of the past couple of decades - Hell or High Water, Wind River & Sicario. I mean he's fantastic at this neo-western stuff on the big screen.
But his TV is some of the biggest bunch of slop. I mean the contrast is incredible.
Kinda hard to wrap your head around.

FWIW, his only involvement with Marshals is an EP credit. He's not writing or running the show (the guy who ran SEAL Team is running it).
From what I can find, he is going to be more involved with the Rip/Beth spinoff (Dutton Ranch).
(also this may have already been mentioned earlier in the thread - if so SIAP)
