Live on Netflix tonight - climbing a skyscraper in Taipei - more stressful or easier than El Cap?

Free Solo was too anxiety inducing. I can't take watching these things, way too stressful.

just like El Cap, he's climbed this multiple times with rope. he feels comfortable with it or he wouldn't do it.

also, i feel like a building is much more uniform/repetitive than the changing rockface. This building is like riding a road bike vs el cap is like riding a mountain bike on trails.

Still planning on watching, but i don't feel like this is nearly as "stressful."

I will watch. I'm thinking he does it in two hours or less unless they stretch it out to create drama.

Out I could not handle it live - I barely got through Free Solo and I knew he was gonna make it.

Oof. Stress inducing is right. And this may seem routine (for him at least) but most long term extreme sports people that die doing it, it usually happens on routine stuff from routine runs of their sport.

I 100% expect him to conquer it of course as I am a massive Honnold fan but there is something different with it being live. Free soloing El Cap was incredible and one of the most insane things a human being will ever do in history. I truly believe it surpasses athletics and sports and instead rests in the pantheon of top collective human endeavors in totality, as a representative of our species. I watched Free Solo and even with the gift of foresight of the ending, it still stressed me the **** out. We won't even have that lil bit of foresight for this.

Kinda glad I don't have Netflix.

Its not even that much. I saw it was mid 6 figures. He should have made those Netflix people pay way more. They throw millions around for those comedians

I don't know how they allowed the people to hang out in the corners of the building waiting for him to pass. Seems like a lot of distraction just for these people to get their selfie.
