Saw online that we won't have long to wait for Season 50, debuts February 25, 2026 with a giant 3-hour episode.

There's also going to be 2 weeks of classic episodes featuring the returning players leading up to the premiere.

I was thinking of expanding the game to we each pick 6 players for 50, as there will be 24 total.

Then at the merge, you only get 4 going forward - so if you have 5 or 6 left, you have to pick 4, and if you have 4 you just keep those 4, and if you have fewer, you replace them without the bonus points.

Any thoughts ?

I know you said you like tallying the points up yourself but there is also this website a group of friends and I use that does it all automatically.

Sage and Jawan screwed up big by voting Alex out. Could have taken Rizzo out and neutered Savannah and Sophie, plus picked up an ally with Alex. Could very well end up costing one of them the game.

It's interesting because there doesn't seem to be any main alliance after looking like it was going to be a tribe war headed into the merge.

You really have to hand it to Yellow Sophie - she's finished first, second, second at Individual Immunity challenges, she was clearly the popular choice to go home last week, and this week she didn't get a single vote.

The rest just seem too scared to flush Rizo's idol because none of them are confident what the secondary target would be.

Do you think Soph has considered she could play the all-time baller move of using the Knowledge is Power advantage ON RIZO at a Tribal and taking the idol from him?

or even more interesting, using it before they vote and taking it from him, prompting the rest to vote him out, but then playing it for him and destroying the other alliance?

Those are pretty out there. I would predict that now that Soph has two votes, Sage will try to "win her trust back" by revealing that Kristina has the other immunity idol, and then Soph takes Kristina's idol with her advantage.

Cannot believe Rizzo is still in the game. They let him skate two weeks in a row. Jawan and Sage deserve to lose at this point. Savannah and Rizzo are just better players and have proven it.

On the Podcast today, Probst said his Mount Rushmore of all-time players is Boston Rob, Sandra (Blech), Parvati (si senor), and Tony, and remarked that all 4 were villains on their season.

Jeremy Collins, the guest host this year, is very impressed with Rizo saying he's not even playing for the money at this point, he just wants to play the game as hard and smart as he can. He was very complimentary of him "dropping little nuggets" about Alex to different people at different times.

Jeremy also told a funny story of how he tuned everything else out in immunity challenges, especially Jeff talking. At some challenge on the Fire & Blood season, halfway through a challenge, Jeff activated some mechanism that could give you a later advantage, and Jeremy wasn't listening and had no idea what was happening when the other contestants started abandoning the challenge and jumping in the water to retrieve the advantage.
