Super Interseting. Thank you for the detailed response.
I was introduced to Hemi Sync and TMI under somewhat similar cirsumstances. I had a significant back injury that lead to surgery and, due to lingering neuropothy and residual pain, I eventually started working on meditation with binaural beats to achieve the Focus 10 state. I had taken so many medications that didn't work, and the ones that did I couldn't take indefnitely, so I commited to this process to manage pain and side effects of the neuropathy. Which, to be honest, I thought was crazy and a waste of time but I was somewhat desperate (taking 3-4 percocets a day + steroids + muscle relaxers + gabapentin + nerve damage was causing severe cramping in my left butt down to my left foot and everything in between).
It took some time, but I was able to eventually get sound grasp on Focus 10. As crazy as it sounds this actually worked. Cramps stopped in 2-3 months, no pain meds at all after about 5 months, no spasms, still taking nerve medication to help get that as right as possible, but the impact was significant. I even had two additional MRI's done because I refused to believe that what I was doing through TMI had anything to do with the progress, but the pics were unchanged from before I started. It was definitely the meditation with binaural beats.
I'm currently in the last phase in trying to somewhat master Focus 15. It's more difficult than Focus 10 but the progress charts about the same. I haven't had any of the extraordinary experiences you have. That's kid of why I asked about where you were in the Focus Level Overview when it happend. I have encountered several physical anomolies along the way, but not enough room here for that.
The biggest takeaways for me are when the told me in elementary school that we only use 10% of our brains, well I wholeheartedly believe that know. The power of prayer and consciousness is real, and The Monroe Institute has much of this down to a science and even more on the way.
