Ha, I spent a good three minutes debating which thread this should go in. What finally swayed me was the runtime, which is apparently only an hour. Meaning it's more "episode" than "movie," thus here we are. That, and it's also a character from/a continuation of a TV show, so, yeah. I'm open to counter arguments, though.

Lol, actually I was assuming you simply listed it exactly as Disney+ was promoting it. But, yeah, what a weird thing....just a random one hour of TV.

Do we think this was made to provide some fresh context for what's going on with Frank prior to the new Spidey movie?

I squealed when I saw the trailer for this. Bernthal's portrayal of Frank is IMMACULATE. The cancellation of the series was an outright war crime on the populace of which no one has been brought to justice yet.

My hope against hope is that this is also a feeler to gauge interest in a longer term project. I mean, it would be naturally, yeah? Just the nature of entertainment business?

Dude, as much as I'd love to see more of the Punisher series produced by Netflix, Disney+ would only screw it up like they did with Daredevil.

NICE! I simply adore the book. It was the first book I "got" as a child when it came to the deeper meanings and nuance behind it. Sis and I still quote it quite a bit. "Sucks to your Auntie's assmar!!"

Wonder how they are going to portray the Simon scene...
