If you're referring to the Man on Fire show, it's because these days studios are extremely lazy, risk averse, and as creative as a cardboard box.

I liked that actor in WonderMan, but watching a show that completely repeats the movie except over the course of 8 or so episodes...no thanks.

Abdul-Mateen is generally a great watch, but you can't replicate Denzel in one of Tony Scott's best.

Maybe the actual show will sell me on Nick Frost as Hagrid (I hope so because I like him), but so far I'm not feeling it. His voice is just not quite right for Hagrid. Like, just a slight pitch too high maybe?
