Jucy's in East Texas blows them all out of the water.

I like 5-guys burgers, but the last time I ate there it was $16 for small everything.

I still think Whataburger is pretty good (the ones I go to anyway)

5 Guys better damn well be up there in the rankings for the prices they charge

If we're going fast-food-style, Ray's Drive In in Lufkin is pretty dang good and the onion rings are excellent. It might be Lufkin's only redeeming feature.

Jorvorskie was pretty redeeming

Haven't seen anyone say Rodeo Goat. Certainly not fast food, but really good high end burgers.

Five or six of those on the list ive never been to. Im still comfortable putting, In and Out, dead last though. Ive been three times. Twice because someone I was with just had to go because they heard how good it was. Every time, im like, "why do people like these burgers so much" so underwhelming.

Agreed. Have given InNOut a couple tries and its just not that great.

In-N-Out isn't great, but it's not worse than McDonald's, Jack in the Box or White Castle.

What burger might be overrated. But its much better than In and Out

I wish Texas Burger would build thousands of stores around the state. Driving all the way to Rockdale sucks but damn their burgers are really good

Have you ever had the Homestyle burger at McDonald's?

Most of us have enough sense not to walk into a McDonald's after 10 am. And the McRib is and always has been garbage on a bun.

We typically do burgers at home, the only question is are we getting the beef out of the Angus ot wagyu freezer. But had a customer in Southlake that we schmoozed routinely. Would have taken them almost anywhere, but they always wanted Kincaid's. Then people on our side would asked to be invited if Kincaid's was the destination. Was good but I would prefer papadeux or papasitos for my expense report.

I believe Rodeo Goat is elite. I've found most people either love it or don't care for it at all. I am a huge fan.

No, never heard of it, but with the exception of the occasional Egg McMuffin, I rarely eat at McDonald's.

Not a nationwide chain, but Pappas BBQ. Not Pappas Burger, but the burger at Pappas BBQ.

I don't live in College Station but visit for games occasionally. I keep hearing about Top of the Hill Greasy Burgers. They look delicious. Is it worth the drive to get one?

Yes, also Margie's in downtown Bryan.

I thought they were good, but wouldn't go out of my way. Kind of "if I'm traversing that part of 6 anyways" type of thing.

Worked for Circle X on the other side of 6 in the mid 90s when it was Griffin's. Those were some stellar, greasy burgers. Top of the Hill was a bit of a downgrade, but not by a lot. Great option if you're passing through the area. If not, as the previous poster said, hit up Margie's in downtown Bryan.

Ahh, I don't know. Been to the Goat in Denton twice, and each time, the meat was nice and thick looking on the outside where you could see it, but when you got to the center, it was almost nonexistant. RG's in Denton is so much better. And while not a fast food joint Krootz brewery in Gainesville makes a burger that is awesome. Cannot understand the love for Steak and Shake, ate there twice, and said no more, or why Carl's is so far down. Love me a Carl's, just wish there was one closer than 40 miles.

Been to the Rodeo Goat in Fort Worth and in Houston, never thought it was anything special.

I have it on good authority that Margie's at the Lincoln Park Inn.

We go to a location that's almost right across from an In-n-Out and we always choose P Terry's.

Even though I grew up there, this is correct. I haven't graced Timberland or Pollok in 26 years and I am okay with that.

Chris Madrid's in San Antonio. Get the Cheddar Cheezy. If you want to split one Get the Macho.

You won't regret it.
