Five guys is awful. In n out is fine but no way #1. Shake shack deserves to be up there.

I haven't eaten at them all and it's been over a decade since I've been to a Wendy's or Jack in the Box, but my top 5 would be:

Freddys
Shake Shack
In n Out
Culver's
Fatburger

Any list that has Freddy's ranked behind Whataburger says more about the person writing than the quality of burgers

I've eaten at seven of these... ever.

One of those is Culver's, which I ate last week for the first time. I was disappointed.

I think Culver's is the best burger and reasonably priced when compared to others. They offer senior citizen discounts. The meat is fresh and the fries are good. Try their Bacon Deluxe Double with sauteed onions next time. This is my go to place in my town.

In -N -Out burger is pretty good, the fries are not good at all.
Five Guys is way expensive.
Shake Shack is ala carte and way too expensive.
Hat Creek burgers are pretty good, but also too expensive. I got a regular hamburger. tator tots, and a tea last night and it was around $15.00

I have not eaten at most on that list but I ate a double double from P Terry's for the first time the other day and it was incredible. A bit more salt and some onion and it would be close to perfect.

Big Kahuna Burger makes a tasty burger, but they're pretty local in LA, so not many people have tried it.

No Fuddrucker's on the list? I have always like their's because you could order it medium.

Places I've never been: Habit, 7th street, BurgerFi, Bareburger, Fat Burger

Places I've been only once: Shake Shack, Smashburger, Checkers

In-N-Out and Whataburger are about on the same level to me. Regional chains that were much better years ago but have a cult following with the locals.

The few times I've been to 5 Guys and Culver's were pretty underwhelming. I just don't get the hype for both. Shake Shack was ok, but it was at an airport, so probably not a good representation of the restaurant. Smashburger had the best fast food burger I've ever had, but I've only been there once. I love Freddy's burgers, but unpopular opinion, they have the worst fries in fast food. White Castle should be last, worst fast food I've ever had.

Burger Mojo is awesome. Never understood why that place wasn't always packed to the gills. I was in school when it was built and it was a godsend for those who don't want any more f'ing chicken strips while late night studying.

Seeing as you eat pasta out of a can, I'm betting you put ketchup on your burgers. This disqualifies the validity of any culinary opinion you wish to share here. Enjoy your dino nuggets and have a nice day.

I'm good with royal with cheese. The rest of those "high end" fastfood burgers are just a big greasy mess that fill me with regret. Freddy's is ight. I like their skinny crispy fries.

Five or six of those on the list ive never been to. Im still comfortable putting, In and Out, dead last though. Ive been three times. Twice because someone I was with just had to go because they heard how good it was. Every time, im like, "why do people like these burgers so much" so underwhelming.

that is a cute list...but just gonna list my top 5

MILLERS CAFE (Garden Oaks, Houston Texas...double baco-cheeseburger...its fer a cop!)

DIXIE MAID (Lyons Rd, Houston, Texas)

LANKFORD'S GROCERY... (Houston,Texas Don't blink...youll miss the turn.)

OMG Burger/Trill Burgers round out my top 5

FIVE GUYS gets an honorable mention, because of the peanuts, kick ass fires, and my version of Whataburger's A1 Thick & Hearty that WB discontinued. Cant rank in n out, cause just have never wanted to try, maybe someday.

.....give me somethin to write on Man!
