Time to analyze

Like I mentioned earlier, won't be a lot of big names running open events like Auhmad Robinson, Ja'Qualon Scott, Kimar Farquharson, or even like some of our transfers Reece Sharman-Newell, or David Foster.

But we will see some big names running like Camryn Dickson, Jaiya Covington, and even Jasmine Montgomery albeit unattached due to only having outdoor eligibility left.

Saturday will primarily showcase our younger Aggies. Many will make their season debuts including Taylor Nunez in the sprints, we'll see many of our new 400 runners in the 300. Peter Narumbe, Stefan Dodoo, and Tharushi Karunarathna in the 600 will be fun as well. Micah Larry a transfer from Georgia will make his Aggie debut in the 60 and the long jump. Sophia Bendet will make her track debut in the 1000. Etoro Bassey will be contesting the high jump as well. Emma Little who was injured for cross country is scheduled to run as well. And I'm happiest to see Blake Harris on the start list after his season ending injury during track season. Distance wise our women will have a strong contingent in the mile while our men our focused on the 3000. Men pole vault will be fun as well

Excited to see Taylor Nunez in the 300, she's going to fit into the mold of Dickson and Montgomery of short sprinters who can run the 4x400 too!

Thank you so much, why is there no women's 3000 meters ?

I suppose it was just the distance coaches preference. Since the guys had a 10k outdoors they're probably in better shape to run a 3000 then the women.

For track the distance runners usually work their way up in distance. I'm pleasantly surprised we're seeing a lot of them run, especially the girls who's season ended not to long ago for cross country!

Lots of distance schools will try for their qualifiying times here since they're already in top shape from XC. Then they start their next training block. I would love for us to do that.

Oh yeah definitely! They'll all be in Boston this weekend and that'll be interesting to see. Although the number of elite runners headed that way seems less than in recent years. It's just something we never do, but also we're new to this cross country nationals stuff

2025 NCAA outdoor 800m champion and USATF outdoor 800m champion Roisin Willis announced Friday evening on Instagram she will be forego her final year of eligibility at Stanford and immediately turn pro.

In her post, she said:
