Absolutely! I really like what we are starting to get from Hrycky, Back and Bourque. I think each of them has another step offensively that they can get to. They just need to be doing the physical parts first.

Also, I really like Gully playing Duchy and Bourque with Mikko and Wyatt a bit. Obviously Duchy gets the goal on the nasty feed from Mikko, but I noticed Bourque out there a bit with the big dogs some as well. I think this is a really good way to spark both of them, as we saw. Bourque on the second Power Play too. I think by elevating them it gives their skills a level playing field and more time to shine. At least until they find a better solution to a top 6 forward.

I feel like Harley has really been challenged too. We desperately need him to be a weapon and he was last night, and has been the past few games.

I think he did, especially 5v5. Wyatt's biggest area of growth is being more impactful 5v5, and I think he has been the last few games. Hes also in an absolute dog fight for team Canada (he's not going to make it but still).

I really like the way this team has responded to that bad two game losing streak. They've been slightly more physical, but most importantly they have started to shoot the puck more from all over the ice. I'd like to see more consistent play from us at 5v5, but it is what it is. I think this team knows how good they are, and they go through the motions in games at times. They basically know they can flip the switch and score on anyone at any time.

I like that while we don't have a real replacement top six winger, they are simply trying to maximize the talent on those two lines by using Duchene with Wyatt and Mikko. Duchene is absolutely not a winger, and we will probably lose quite a few board battles with him as a winger, but he does bring matching skill to that line in open ice and when we have possession. I am completely fine with it right now.

Harley is still a bit of a conundrum at times, but at least he is starting to build his confidence in the offensive zone and really get involved. Lundkvist is also starting to build that confidence again. Additionally, I am not really sure what is going on with the d-pairs; there's a lot of right with right and left with left. It's sort of working though so not harm no foul.

Last thing; I think we all know and the NHL community knows that at our best we are right there with the Avs as the best team in the league. So naturally my mind is starting to see matchups down the stretch, and I cannot help but think we are going to need a top six forward (preferably a right shot and can work the dot) to not only improve and replace Seguin, but to also put guys back into their proper positions up and down the lineup. I have no clue who this is, but that's the one spot I think we 100% probably need going into the trade deadline and playoffs.
