I'm sorry but you should not be allowed to pull into a teammate's pit stall to to have work done.
I thought it was pretty cool. Smart thinking. And safer even if there's a penalty.

Then make your guys run down and fix it themselves. Nobody but your team should be allowed to touch your car. Of if they do make the penalty more than a longest line one.

It should be a penalty for pitting in a teammate's pit stall. If Briscoe had an incident and needed to pit, he's out of luck.
Not to mention it's an advantage multi car teams have that singles don't.

The moment he lost his ride I predicted Hendrick would snag him and do the rehabilitation pr campaign. Being able to drop his own company on the hood removed any concern about finding him key sponsors.
I was at the Texas races in 2014 and both races that year as a rookie he finished well. It was the first time I'd ever seen a driver ride the wall like that. It's incredible.
The right side of his car had all the fenders ground down. He used the wall to sand them down.

Today's race has to go down as the most boring race of the season, thus far. It's not over yet, but unless something happens in the last 30 or so laps, it's a real snoozer.
I think Elliott should have gotten tires on one of those yellows after everyone stopped in the final stage. Probably could have run Hamlin down.
Martinsville has been pretty disappointing since the Hail Melon.
The tires were too good. Lasted too long with too much sustained grip.
They discussed bringing the 2 kinds and I gather the drivers lobbied for just the one type.
I just think they need a tire option that makes you a rocket but that falls off fast.

Anything the drivers whine about wanting it sucks for the fans.
