Both. Not saying it WILL happen, but it's very likely.

At best, I think we will definitely have less on the roster. That roster limit rule hasn't passed, but I think it will still affect us.

I think it is likely there will be a grace period to get to the new limits. No one has much stomach to cut loose guys who have been on the team for number of years. Still very fluid. The new guys from OU and Auburn should play toward the top of the roster and strengthen doubles.

The roster has to downsize to 10 players, that's the new limit. I don't know who on the team will remain, it's hard to say but we have the OU transfer, Freshman from India, Frusia from auburn, Theo if he chooses to return, Filip if he wants to, Tiago if he wants to stay. Outside of that there might be several conversations had about players who were on the roster who won't have a spot on next years roster.

I don't think the new limit has gotten thru the legal battles yet. May not apply to next year

I'm still curious who is transferring out…. But the guy we have coming in from India is now a top 50ITF junior. Without any transfers out, we got a very salty team! Top 10 on paper

about a 95% chance we don't bring in another transfer. we got 2 solid ones and signed a very highly ranked junior in the world. we return theo (this will be up in the air really till the spring starts), tiago, and togan from our starting lineup. we have a very solid 6. Plus not to mention Filip whom we hope to get on the court this year. That is a VERY good group. We have depth with ritesh and lathan (doubles).

Ritesh was/is in the portal. Not sure if he still is or not, but he made visits.

Ok this is what I thought was coming! I just thought given some of the feedback, someone else was leaving. This group, on paper, Theo, Filip, Auburn transfer, OU transfer, Tiago, Togan, incoming freshmen from India(who has had a huge rise in rankings and UTR since signing) is a top 5 team on paper. Legit title contender


And everyone returns for at least two years or more, except Togan

I expected this, not sure he was going to fit into the lineup otherwise. Hope Brayden gets healthy too

I do hope we achieve what we should for once! It's been a while

Haha fair! But this team has a true #1 - 5, with a few options at 6. I feel like the last few years we just were never sure where the pieces fit. This year seems pretty close to clear for me!

My question, as always, is at what point do we have to make a semis in NCAAs or better, or we move on from Denton/O Shea? This is year 20. We have made it further than the Sweet 16 3 times in 20 years. If any other sport at A&M did that, it wouldn't be a question.

I believe his contract is up this year. Denton hasn't recruited well in a while - and that's coming from someone with a former player on the team. I wouldn't be shocked if we have a retirement this year.
