A&M earns No. 3 seed in 2025 NCAA Tournament, will host at Reed

Third time in three years for Jamie Morrison's Aggies.

During Sunday's NCAA Selection Show, Texas A&M volleyball (23-4, 14-1) was selected as a No. 3 seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and will host the first and second rounds in Bryan-College Station.

It marks the first time that postseason volleyball has come to Reed Arena since 2019.

The Aggies will host No. 6 seed TCU (20-10), Stephen F. Austin (23-7) and Campbell (23-6) next weekend. A&M will open tournament action against the Camels on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025.

Coming off its most successful regular season in 41 years, A&M’s seeding is well deserved. The Maroon & White lost three regular-season games and just one in SEC play. The Aggies’ .933 regular-season winning percentage is the highest in school history and includes a conference-high nine sweeps.

With a remarkable regular season in the books, the Maroon & White are ready to find more success in the postseason.

In last week's SEC Tournament, the Aggies swept Vanderbilt before falling to Texas in four sets. Although the defeat snapped their 11-game winning streak, A&M was able to go home and get some extra rest.

A year ago, the Aggies pushed their way into the Sweet 16, ultimately falling to No. 2 seed Wisconsin in a heartbreaking five-set match. With 11 returners on the 2025 roster, that sour taste hasn't gone away. The Ags are highly motivated by last year's result, and it translated during the regular season.

Logan Lednicky has recorded double-digit kills in her last 17 matches. Ifenna Cos-Okpalla reached 150 blocks for the third-straight year. Kyndal Stowers is coming off a 22-kill night vs. the Longhorns. Maddie Waak is still the nation's leader in assists per set with 11.51. The four All-SEC first teamers have led the way in 2025, making this Morrison's most talented and capable group yet.

The Aggies were viewed as one of the nation’s hottest programs during conference play. With the NCAA Tournament on deck, don't expect A&M to turn down the heat anytime soon.
