After the win over Nebraska, most were saying 9 times out of 10 Nebraska would win. Might have been true at the time but...

After the dominant run, I'm pretty confidant Aggies would beat the Huskers again in a re-match.

We'd sweep them in dominating fashion right now, even if we all had the flu

We beat three 1 seeds and only dropped two sets. We were the best team by a mile there at the end.

Nebraska filed a protest because they would have won without the flu and the ankle injury pregame. Shared National Championship.

That was AMAZING! One of the most dominant teams I have seen in any sport. Feeling really fortunate to be fans of this team in one of our favorite sports. Great job ATM volleyball!!!!

The girls (and coaches) were next level brilliant.

Kentucky had shown grit and resilience in the tournament too, but once we made our run in the 1st set, their faces and body language changed. They knew our team wasn't backing down, and they didn't have the answers or the same fight.

This was epic. I know people compare this to the 2011 WBB title, but it's more like 1980 USA hockey to me. Not a perfect analog, but the grit and character are similar. It truly was about the team.

They looked like they completely checked out early in the second set. We broke them

The deck was already stacked ridiculously in their favor.

Home floor advantage.

Packed house.

Sea of red.

Tradition of excellence in the sport.

Past championships in the rafters.

#1 seed in their region.

Undefeated all season.

#1 seed overall nationally . . .

And we went and took it from them.

We took it all.

No need to play what if.

I went from having a BAS flare up at the beginning of the first set to almost feeling bad for Kentucky. An elite team that looked completely helpless during set 2 & 3.

Pummeling Pitt and Kentucky. Beating a dominate Nebraska team in Lincoln. At this point, I want to see us take on Team USA! Maybe they could give us a match!

Unpossible! Too many of our girls would have to play for both teams!

They should be in trouble for exposing teams to the Flu.

This speaks to Coach Morrison's comments about problems with the RPI and challenging the premise this was the "biggest upset" in college volleyball. We beat a #2 seed and three #1s (sweeping the last two); not to mention beating the fourth #1 seed in conference play. You don't do that as a legitimate #3 seed (and apparently the lowest one with the Nebraska pairing).
