Might pitch hit for him if the situation calls for it but will be very surprised if he is not on the lineup card tomorrow or the rest of the Regional.

Can't do a whole lot worse. Can't leave the bat on your shoulder on some of those strike 3's he took. At least try to foul it off and get another pitch. And I'm sure he knows it. But knowing it and doing something about it are two different things.

We have several players that don't hit curve balls and off speeds well…so they get sat in.

What do you want to do? Play a guy who is less than .200 career sec. I agree Jorian looks lost up there but his figure it out is way higher than tk's. I do think the next lefty we face we should stark TK though.

There does become a point where continually putting him out there is overall counter intuitive for the player.

which duer does not but we see him in left butchering balls and having non competitive abs for over a month and a half now.

Chestnut and TK deserve a few ab's Chestnut keeps saving us with his bunts.

His arm alone in RF is a weapon that no other player in our OF or bench possesses. That alone keeps him in the lineup for me. He will get through his struggles at the plate, but the book is also out about running on his arm.

I'd tell Jorian to only look fastball. Don't even swing at offspeed stuff. This will help him bust the slump. Hit, walk, or strikeout but the offspeed stuff must be thrown for strikes in this scenario. Right now the book is out on him. Inside curves (almost all balls).

I'll admit it's starting to tick me off. TK gets yanked out of the lineup presumably because he was struggling at the plate while similar struggles of others are on display night after night after night. Everyone else gets to work through it while TK is sent to Siberia.

It flies in the face of the simple fact that our offense was most dynamic this season when TK was starting in LF. There are only two guys with the ability to manufacture on the base paths (the hit and run with TK scoring from first on a single was a thing of beauty) and Chesnut. TK has the added benefit of being a plus defender and somewhat of an emotional leader.

I'd much much rather leave Jordan in and sit Duer to insert TK. Duer is like giving a ghost out to the other team in the 4 hole…and not a good OF on top of that.

I like TK a lot and if he plays left field, I'll hope for tremendous success. Folks, Duer is not coming out. He's close to a .300 hitter for the season and went 1-4 last night, which is on par with just about everybody. I would, however, probably roll with TK over Jorian, if we face a left hander.

You're assuming he's able to identify the difference. People don't swing and miss at a slider or changeup by 2 feet because you say, "hey, there's the slider I'll swing as is it doesn't slide."

The issue is that you think it's a fantasy and it isn't.

Jorian is 100% guessing at pitches and is committed to swing. Earley was aware of that issue when he recruited Jorian and told him he could fix it. OK, Michael, fix it.

Jorian sees so many Aggie hitters swinging for the long ball, and he emulates them. How about just making contact, big fella, and good things will happen.

Definitely cannot take Duer out, TK over Jorian is really the only consideration IMO.

The bottom of the lineup is what made us special 6 weeks ago. The OBP for Bear at 8 and Kellner at 9 regularly set the table for Gavin, etc. Yesterday Gavin hit leadoff virtually every time at the plate because 7-8-9 were completely unproductive.
