Yes I did you dumb ****. Not hard to figure out from his game plan. I have supported him this year and did not want him gone so fast after last year. So it's not an I'm miserable take ass hat. It's an easy observation and disappointment in him. We should have been out for blood.

I can understand losing this game. I can understand getting out of Hoover early and getting some rest. I can understand that we know that our pitching is what it is by this time of the year. I cannot understand these hitters having absolutely no pride in their craft tonight to have competitive at bats. 2 of 28 and first shut out of the year.

….we started Darden whose only started 4 games this year.

Momentum swung to them early and we never got any of it back with our anemic at-bats….

The pitching is horrendous, but our 8 and 9 hitters drew walks and had our top 3 guys come up to bat and 1 and 2 struck out. That's almost surely where the game was lost. Baseball is baseball but shouldn't our head coach with a hitting background be able to coach these guys up in situations like that?

He went out and got Pennington to fix a problem. Hopefully he goes out and gets the best pitching coach available to fix this one.

This is not a "woe is us" post but it's predictable.

Teams that live on offense and have average pitching are not teams that make deep runs.

It's been a great season, and with just a couple pieces could be a threat.

But my expectations is that we likely don't get out of our region. We could catch a break and not have high level pitching in our region and make the supers, but that would be over achieving.

Line play wins in football. Always. Pitching wins in baseball. Always.

He's right and you know it. If we are lucky enough to win our regional with this garbage pitching, we will get abused in the supers

This team has already won 3 series against soon to be national seeds. Yea, our pitching is generally bad, but there isn't any evidence that we will "get abused in the supers".


You're right! We win one game and get abused the other 2 games


Quit being so emotional. It's baseball. We could lose our regional. We could win our regional and get hot offensively mashing our way to the CWS.

One thing we all agree on is our pitching is not good.

Have to get hot and get lucky…. getting to Omaha would be overachieving, getting to Supers would be enough to feel good about the season…
