My vote is on Wild Weston
That would be my guess as well, but I guess we will see.
For the regional with everyone available do you throw Wild Weston against the 4, Sims on Saturday then Darden?
I'd start Darden and see how much you can get out of him then proceed. IMHO it's worked well. Then you can go to Weston or Shane or Gavin.

Are you getting the impression Sim's injury is more serious than advertised? The Ags may add some new arms on Thursday. It's the end of the season....there are no freshmen.

I'm not sure if it's more serious or if we just don't want to chance him aggravating it before regionals.
Or best to not announce season ending injury until after seeding selections are announced.

No reason to pitch Sims in this tournament. Let him get as healthy as possible for the postseason.
Weather may play a factor in our pitching decisions. If this is going to be a stop-start-stop again-start again type game, maybe we plan to make it a true bullpen game.

We did get 5 runs off Alvarez, of which 4 were earned.
He was the starter in our 18-5 loss in 7 innings. With that margin,
he pitched all 7 innings.

Definitely not excited about Alvarez starting against us today. But hopefully since we've seen him already, we'll be able to properly adjust this time. But also, his game against us could've been an anomaly and he throws straight meatballs today.

Lets got Moss now to maximize his rest and see how things go if we progress to the next round which is the biggest bang for the buck.

Likely. Are we trying to set up for regional tonight or just win? I'm good with either option and it may be same answer.
Need to win tonight to erase any doubt about a top 8 seed. Who to start is the question.
