An observation and question:

At Friday night's game, after the final out (fly ball to left field caught by Terrence Kiel II), Kiel pocketed the ball and ran in for the handshakes. Did he do this to give the ball to Cole Hubert as a souvenir for his first Aggie game?

In today's game, too, the final out was a 1-3 groundout. The first baseman caught the ball for a force out, then pocketed the ball and ran in for handshakes. Did he give the ball to Hunter Vincent?

When I was a kid they were so creative. But really the last 10 years or so (or at least since I was a student) it's gotten repetitive and stale.
