Nothing online seems to help, so I'll ask Texags...

I have a Firestick. When I go to "sign in with TV provider" it takes me to the "Select Provider" screen where I select YouTubeTV. Then it takes me to a Google login screen where it wants my Gmail password, since YTTV is through Google/Gmail. After putting in my password, and sometimes even before, it kicks me out and sends me back to the "Select Provider" screen. I am caught in this endless loop.

Last year I had this problem about half the time but it would eventually work. Now it seems to have completely quit. Come on TexAgs, any ideas?

Remove app and reinstall should clear the app and its cache.

It told me my account didnt have access even though I was logged in with YouTube tv. Logged out. Logged back in. Kicks me out like it didn't work . Restart app and I'm logged in and have access. ESPN app is horrible

I'm at the game but I've had the exact same problem for two years. Neither ESPN nor Amazon have a solution. You're out of luck. Sorry

I was having that issue when trying to add provider after selecting event

What I did is I went to settings and added tv provider from there and that worked

I am also on firestick but instead of that particular issue the game just freezes after every commercial break and I have to close it and open it again.

Guess I should be grateful!

No. I've got 3 TVs in my living room for watching college football, basketball and baseball and this time of year they're all on the ESPN app without issues. I got my social security check this week too.

You might try directing the login to your phone and use your data plan while authenticating. There may be an issue that its trying to authenticate to your home internet provider, like Spectrum, that you don't have a TV plan for.

If you're invested in the Amazon platform, I'd upgrade to the cube. It's a night and day difference over the performance and lag of the fire stick. No issues with the cube in three years, fire sticks constantly lag and I always have to login to apps that sign out. Even the built in fire tv software on my new TCL tv I purchased over Christmas doesnt compete with the cube. Apple TV is another great option if you aren't invested in the Amazon ecosystem.

I've been there, it's painful and frustrating. If you've cleared the cache and/or deleted and re-installed the app and still having problems, try this.

Go to Firestick app settings;
then Applications
>>then Silk browser
>>Pairing: turn off
>>then go to Password Manager: turn off save passwords and auto sign-in
>>then clear the cache on the ESPN app (you can also delete the ESPN app and re-install)

Interesting. I have no idea what this is, but will check into it.

On the tv that I have a firestick (rest are firetv's), I used to have the freeze lag problem a lot. The issue was that the firestick was a few years old and had an older processor/technology,. If your firestick is a few years old, try upgrading to the latest model they have available and see if that helps with the issue.

I spent the first hour of today's game "Re-authenticating" after watching last nights game on the RSPN app. Finally can see it. Sigh.
