Our pitching dominated Tech's lineup. An unearned run off a weak grounder and two solo homers to lead off the game when Lessentine just wasn't ready to start the game.

You hate to give away a game like that but we did.

SO to end the game.

Sucks to lose such a close game, especially when we could have won.

But we played a darn good 'all star team' toe to toe. Says a lot !!!

We DID face the million dollar pitcher and she was really good after she gave up the homer in the first.

Coach Ford used her pitchers like she said she would do. Not giving Tech a chance to get used to the same pitcher.

Aggie pitching gave up 0 BB and 0 HBP. We have had a lot of problems with these in big games in the past.

Perfect match-up early in the season to get our bearings, and likely the better outcome. Stay hungry and keep working. TT will run through their season.

Didn't post during the game, but this was a great game. The girls fought hard against an awesome team. Can't wait for the rest of the season.

I feel much more confident about our pitching after this game. Tech has a lot of great hitters in their lineup and outside of three at bats (2 in the first inning) they didn't have much hard contact. Canady is a tough pitcher to face especially early in the season but our at bats looked good, would've liked to see more walks and deep counts but Wark is going to be really good this year!

Although I didn't get to watch the whole game, I think the Aggies had a solid showing. Miscues came back to hurt the team and I think the Aggies have had at least one in every game in the tournament, have to clean those up. It's early in the season and the pitching staff did well outside of Sydney L giving up those 2 homers in the first inning. Very encouraged for the season.
