I agree either Chestnut, Stewart, or Sdao. I think having your closer don the 12 would be incredible, but if I had to put money on someone it would be Chestnut. (No curse this year)

I agree with Chestnut and probably Stewart, too. Chestnut definitely has the heart for it. I know Troy and others wore it as everyday starters, but I like to see a good bench player that embodies the Aggie spirit and lifts the team (and excites the fans) when he enters.

Let's see if a pitcher or two have a bust season wearing 12 before we throw this idea in the trash bin. Or maybe change it to the 10th man (or is it the 11th with the DH). Or maybe just name a team Captain.
