I know we don't talk about it much because it's a lot harder to follow than football recruiting plus there's the potential of losing kids to the draft but I'd point out that Earley and his staff have been on a pretty good recruiting heater and got some serious talent committed in our 2026 and 2027 classes.

Our 2026 recruiting class is supposed to be the second best ranked of all time for A&M, after only 2025. I think 2027 might be on track to be even better

Baseball America has A&M 11th for 2026, but that's 9th in SEC.

We appear to be undersigning relative to our competition. I think I know the reason(s) why but I don't think it's a good strategy to undersign.

At the end of the day, it's all about who you get to campus. We have a realistic shot with our whole 2026 class, but will likely be really sweating a few guys as of right now.

According to Brauny, we hit on two higher priority guys filling the same role as Holt in the class with Colton Floyd and Brady Cunningham. Definitely hurts to see him go to that school regardless though
