Make it in and a few rounds isn't a ridiculous thought imo. Win your first tourney game and the round of 32 is a few rounds. Making it in is getting trickier by the day tho. There aren't any really easy games left. Beating Ole Miss is absolutely critical.

You never know what you have until you open the box. Our expectation posturing is mostly silliness.

Let's hope for 4-2 or better down the stretch. Then let the chips fall where they fall. BHTO everyone!!! Gig'em!!

Always was really unless we beat either Florida, Vandy, or Bama (or Tennessee) any of which would have been an upset.

Like technically no, you can lose that one and there's still a combination of not-individually-unlikely wins that would do the trick, but it would be the first loss that really put a major dent in our projection.

At that point you have to basically sweep the rest of our games except Arkansas.

What's funny though is I said on one thread way back in October or November I think that the way the schedule was laid out, there was a good chance that Aggies would get their inner most fantasy/nightmare. We might absolutely have to have the Texas game.

Bobinator you notice they benched Lane for most of the 2nd half against vandy. He is not playing well. He needs to drive more. He has become too tentative. His size has become a problem against the good teams. They are playing Hill and he is playing well but it takes away from the overall strategy to spread the floor.

When Agee was playing well they had the floor spread with all great shooters and he was able to operate. With Hill he cant do that. They need to add Clemence to the starting 5 and bring Hill off the bench.

I still think we might be overreacting to bad offensive games against two VERY good defenses in Florida and Vandy. I'm not all that worried about our offense. It was very good against Alabama and very good against Mizzou.

It's the defense that's the problem, and that's where Lane has been really bad. But it's not like anyone be else has been markedly better to take his spot. Isaacs comes with his own risks.

This post reads like you're happy or relieved we now have to manage our expectations after a few losses after having high hopes, at least implicitly. Strange sentiment that I'm not following.

We are gonna be fine. Decent chance to be in with any 3.

We are dancing in the committess mind we are 8-4. We've lost two games in OT and two others at the end. We will get our sea legs back there is always some adversity. I had us at 10-8 and 22-11 so that looks to be a pretty good pick. We were on a roll and our intramural team was succeeding now we are playing bigger teams but not making any shots.

Our requirements for victory

• Dominguez needs to hit some shots
• we need at least 4 guys in double figures
• we have to be near perfect from the line
• win the turnover battle

We can win losing the rebounding battle but if we arent hitting anything and also turning it over more we are in trouble. We need to hold serve our last 6 conference games.

Thankfully the SEC did have the national champ last year that helps with any credability issues.
