The only thing I miss about Buzz was his newsletters. I always assumed Bob got them by email but I'm not shocked to learn they were copies of a handwritten note.

That's how I got my cut. Buzz would send me the newsletter by carrier pigeon and I would distribute it to subscribers. I kept 40% for my efforts and I'd pay Buzz in beaver pelts because he doesn't believe in fiat money.

Jack Easterby is a typical religious, motivational coach sports hanger on, of which type there are plenty out there to the point where if you played any team sport you probably came across multiple similar type guys at some point.

I dont know what is more hilarious, the idea that he "imploded the Texans" or that even if he did so, that it was his fault and not the organization for actually putting a guy with that background in any sort of decision making capacity. The fact that he "led chapel" for the Texas A&M basketball team is so benign and so typical of where that type of person ought to be finding his level, that its also hilarious that radio sports talk hand wringers acted like it was the end of the world. If Buzz Williams made Jack Easterby an assistant coach or his director of recruiting or some other Texans type staffing decision, maybe then it'd be something to talk about.

Side note: big old f u to buzz for not playing andre mills last year. He's averaging 13.1 points this year and 38.5 percent from 3. I seriously doubt guys like manny, Carter and hef were outplaying him in practice, even as a true fish. Could have helped a bunch imo.

Not sure why he played Hef so much. His offensive production was not great at times.

Buzz held him back so Buzz would have him for all 4 years at his next coaching stop.
