I've seen those disasters as well. They lost a 10 point lead in the last 3 minutes tonight

Tech surprisingly in a fight at Arizona State.
Maybe not so surprising the loss follows a hard fought game with #1 Arizona on 3 days rest. They essentially play their 3 best players the whole game and fatigue must have finally caught up with them.

The games this weekend will be fun to watch
They traveled to Tucson Friday and played a day game. They stayed there until Monday morning and bussed up here to Tempe which is less than 2 hours. ASU isn't very good and Hurley is a terrible game coach. Toppin got hurt late but ASU led virtually the entire game. Hurley did everything he could to lose but Tech couldn't grab it.

Yeah last year Cooper Flagg's injury was reminiscent of that at first.
Completely forgot about Flagg just last year.
Watching Alabama vs Arkansas both of these teams look like they are on another level than us. Can't believe we should have beat Alabama.

Reminds me of Cincinnati's Kenyon Martin breaking his leg in their conference tournament in 2000. They were absolutely dead team walking after that. They got a 2 seed (might have gotten a 1 if he had been healthy) and lost in the second round.

They have some decent skins on the wall (St. John's, @ Florida, Arkansas, NC State is a good win), but they appear to be circling the drain. Their schedule down the stretch isn't all that tough, but MSU wasn't one they figured to lose.
Josh Hubbard going Chris Jackson (later Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf) on Auburn right now, though.
