I definitely get your point, the roster assembly was insane - I like a lot of these players and I am not sure how Bucky and A&M pulled it off that late. A lot of scorers, shooters - players with actual production at the college level.

But in the game from last year that I referred to, our leading scorer was Phelps and he was in his 3rd game as an Aggie. Payne was also starting and in his 3rd game as an Aggie, and was a huge addition.

I'm surprised they don't have IVs and boxes full of energy gel packs by bench. The press on the defensive side and the fast break off a rebound, those guys would be gassed.

Fun to watch? Oh yeah! Got to think those guys were having a ball last night.

Now, there were a couple of times when NW State was able to in-bound the ball over the press. Don't know if that was one of our guys missing an assignment, I'm sure that's going to be talked about.

The nice surprise was the players reaction in the locker room toward their coach. They really like playing for Bucky.

That speaks volumes.

Bucky has said hopefully sometime towards the end of the month. Bucky has said he's probably our best player. He's a great atheltic forward at 6'9. Definitely a game changer and our best NBA prospect

I'm really curious how Bucky will handle rotations once the best 5 becomes more evident. Do we continue with mass subs even when one or two guys are feeling it that night? I would think so due to how fast paced the scheme is, might just need to rely on all 10 to bring it each night, which seems to be what he preaches. Going to be exciting regardless.
