Give me your wisdom, lessons learned, etc. looking at a double-basin with a low divider by Kraus.

Clients are opting for quartz/granite
with rounded EZ clean interior corners
and can provide at least one deep soaking water area
but most concentrate on ideal dishwasher to do the dirty work
from there, it's a cleanliness, decorator free for all in options/choices, e.g. farmhouse, recessed, etc.

We are aware of the KBU32-100-75MB deal afoot, not bad but its location would not be prime sink for kitchen, rather in B.Pantry or commercial back area b/c of its list of "cons" published by others.
Gotta draw since me got no grammar

are you replacing the existing sink so that there is an existing hole?

Make sure the new sink will fit. I replaced an undermount sink and first choice didn't fit properly after opening box, had to re-measure and get a second sink.

The very first thing I would do is shut the water to the house off and change out the shutoff valves and then turn the water back on.

That way when this goes from being a 3 hr job to 2 days the rest of the house has water.

Take a picture of your existing plumbing prior to removal.

Stuff a rag in your drain pipe at the wall when you remove the piping.
Remember to remove the rag in the drain pipe.

If your Garbage disposal is hard wired think about mounting a surface mount box to change it to an outlet while everything is removed.

Install your faucet before you drop the sink in. It is easier to tighten everything on the counter.

Don't forget to take ibuprofen since you'll be laying on your back in weird positions.

Good luck

2nd this. Since the walls on this go straight down, make sure you have clearance all the way down.

Depending on how thin the stainless is, you may want to put some sound deadening sheets on the bottom of the sink (check car audio section on Amazon). That made a world of difference with a thinner sink for me. Really helps keep the noise down when putting stuff in the sink and washing pots and pans.

Caulk...

One other thing... when clamping down the sink from the underneath, I've always used the "star" method of tightening them, similar to putting a car rim on. Whether or not it's necessary I have no idea. Double check from above to make sure it's squared up before you finish tightening the clamps, trust me on that one

If you don't have one already, consider getting this tool:
https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/ez-change-faucet-tool

My son picked one up when we were changing out his bathroom faucets, and it made the job considerably easier.

Thanks! Do I need that if I'm ripping everything out and installing all new?

It doesn't hurt to have one of those, but if you assemble the faucet before you install the sink it's not necessary.

Thankfully I've been a good man this year and don't have a pile of projects I need to knock out, just this one

don't know if you've seen the newer style faucets, they install from above the counter.. way easier than the old style

We've installed two new sinks/faucets in our house this year, and both were like this.

I haven't.. those are pretty cool..

The last one I installed was a couple years ago when I had granite countertops installed...

The existing sink has a glacier bay fixture that I know when I installed it ~6 years ago it was never coming out again (at least not attached to the sink) with how much finagling I had to do to get it stuck in place
