I need to practice more and I am looking for recommendations on golf simulator or launch monitors. I have a decent net and pad in the backyard. Which launch monitors do you all use that you like? Budget-wise, I would be ok up to $1500.

Do you have a decent PC at home? I have a gaming PC that could power a uneekor mini lite. For the price point, you won't get anything more powerful.

Not really. I could get a computer on it if I needed. Can maybe just get a ipad for now

I call my setup the redneck range, it has this:

1. Net
2. Turf
3. Garmin r10 with E6 (free courses)
4. Old IPAD paired to Garmin
5. IPAD connected to old computer monitor.
6. metallic tape to get more accurate info on spin.

works well for the price...total outlay was about $500.

is it great, no but it does the trick.

My advice would be do not try and go too cheap as you will end up with a new one sooner rather than later.

I choose a Garmin R50 as my LM as I didn't want to spend too much for an overhead and didn't want to have to go by a PC as well. In addition Garmin doesn't need to have a GSPro or other subscription to work.

I do however connect to GSPro and it need a powerful PC to run it.

I did everything from painting, installing protective padding, overhead lights and projector, changed my garage door to a jackshaft and raised the rails.

For just a little more, I would go with the Golfjoy Spica 3 Lite!
AI chip, extremely accurate or the Spica 3 WLD & ULD use this launch monitor to verify numbers and distances.

I do think the R10 fits my needs best right now. I love that there is no required subscription. Thanks all, I will work on the setup
