MyGolfSpy's 2026 putter tests showed ZT putters beating mallets and blades at all putt lengths by a wide margin. Their top 5 putters were all ZT. So the hype for ZT may be real.

100%. Changed everything for me. Arc or no arc, ZT helps take the hands and manipulation out of the stroke.

I switched about 6 months ago to the Taylormade Spider from a milled face Mizuno blade and love it. Have never putted better. It just feels so much easier to get the ball on the intended line and I've got more confidence than ever on 5 footers and in.

Also I never quite appreciated just how significant missing the sweet spot of a putt is with a milled face blade. If you dont strike it perfect your distance control is going to vary hugely. Not a problem at all anymore as the mallet is so forgiving. Like going from a persimmon driver to a 460cc head

Have used a mallet for most of my golfing life and just switched to a blade putter and have gotten better results....if I hit the sweet spot.

Now I'm looking for a wide body/double-wide blade putter. Hopefully it'll be the best of both worlds.

That's what I use. Have for a few years now. Just suits my eye.

I needed a new bag, so I dropped by Edwin Watts and walked out with a nice Kradul bag. Of course, I also played around with several ZT putters including an Odyssey 7 Dual Ai S2S and a Wilson Infiniti Lakeview ZT. I'm an Odyssey loyalist, but I actually didn't like the 7 as much as the Wilson. At $200, the Wilson is an incredible deal and felt very natural. Sigh. Just when I got my Rossie completely dialed in on grip, counterweight and head weights, something else gets added to my wish list.
