The No. 4 Texas A&M women's golf team is set to wrap up its historic fall season at the Bear Brawl with 36 holes of action at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco on Oct. 28.

Texas A&M tees off for the one-day event with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The field is comprised of 11 teams with Baylor acting as host at its home course.

Another windy day of golf and the scores show it. From weather reports I checked online the wind got worse as the day went on.

As a team, the Aggies were in 2nd overall behind Baylor after the first round but Baylor suffered more in the second round and the Aggies took over the lead and won the tournament. They ended up even par on the day with a -3 first round and a +3 second round. Baylor ended up with a +4 on the day (-8, +12).

A Baylor player won individually with a -5 on the day (-5, E) and Cayetana took second with a -3 on the day (-3, E).

Our ladies have done really well this Fall in regional tournaments with lower ranked teams but it will be much harder when we start playing Top 10 teams on a regular basis. But, I'm positive they will make their mark !!
