Update & observations:
A narrow market of DAILY golfers are the Seniors with lots of time & money to spend on this.
Their putters have ball pick-me-ups, sometimes at both ends to avoid the aches/pains of bending over that far.
Ergo their markers are worth x-tra $$$$ if magnetized so their putter can lift it up, stick on hat clip or 0.9"diam divit tool after they toss it down near ball, then pick-me-up the ball.

These seniors crowd the public courses at dawn, all morning so that open tee times are rare.
Maybe such a crowd of potential sales might interest you?
I just got some strong 6# thin magnets to serve, some college metal/weak mags to return to Amazon crooks, etc so the quality end of this market is all yours.

Be sure to have an iron clad licensing agreement with TAMU ...........

Is magnetic important?

Magnetic would be great if you had a divot tool that it would attach to. I currently use one similar to this but the A&M logo is a magnetic ball marker.

Ah understood - our intent will be to bring a more premium, precision engraved stand alone marker to the market.

The ones in the clips are much smaller and currently we need a little more surface area for the machining.

We'll create a different product all together for this.

I would like one of each design with maroon inlay in dark alloy and/or brushed nickel.

If you made a script Aggies, I'd take that one as well, in the same colors.

I would buy if it were magnetic. I use the magnet clip on the brim of my hat.

Use a tee to fix a divot.

Meh. I prefer the divot tool with magnetic ball marker because it clips to my pocket and I don't have to dig in my pocket for it, but I also don't remove my glove when I putt.

Regardless, I plan on purchasing these.

I need to update my washer...

I'd like the ones with paint infill. Not big on the bevel, but I'll still get them to add to my collection. (One example below). Was consideration given to a Sarge image for the markers?

A few of us on here have noted over the years how A&M has failed to provide good golf products for us like other schools, so its good to see when someone is addressing the void.

Oh, that's even more awesome. I just assumed we were looking at "standard" ball marker size samples.
