I play Golf+ a few nights a week on a Quest 3, used to on a Quest 2. The feel is solid once you calibrate club length and grip, a basic club attachment helped my tempo. Putting took a session to trust, but shaping shots and the short game feel natural. A fan and a clear 6x6 works for me, battery is about 2 hours and I don't get motion sick. For other VR or PC games, I check cdkeyprices to compare legit store keys and region info. Saves a few bucks.

In other news we released Pinehurst No. 10. Totally different vibe than No. 2, would love to get out here IRL to see some of these crazy holes in person.

i played 10, that "tillings" hole is crazy, no real flat lie anywhere on the fairway.

Released Tobacco Road today... it's been near the top of my IRL bucket list for years so it's been fun to get a little taste of it here. Can easily see why people tend to either love it or hate it, every hole seems to be tricked up in one way or another.

Costco + Amazon are putting on some great deals for Quest headsets, and I'll have some more keys to pass out this holiday season just in case any of y'all pick one up and are interested in checking out the game!

I was curious about this and have been thinking about picking up a Meta Quest 3. I have a golf simulator already, so I'm not sure how often I would play a golf game when I could just play a round on the sim. It would be awesome if it would utilize my computer and GSPro or their own native software to be able to actually hit real golf balls in my sim while playing this game.

Great to hear! I was the lead designer on the new practice facility - a ton of work went into that. There's a cool new mode getting added to the facility called "Mastery" that's coming out within a few weeks that I've been cooking on for awhile. Basically a bunch of guided lessons that you can progress through to learn how to hit various shots while earning rewards. Hoping that it's as well received as the overall facility has been. Since the release a few weeks ago we've already had over 5M shots hit there.

Still have multiple courses to come before the year ends including one that's found in basically every top 15 worldwide list out there

I got you! We actually used to play golf together in CS awhile back... I'll try the old email (@gmail) I have for you. Let me know if you don't get anything.

There are a ton of different 3rd party attachment options out there. The most popular tend to be the ones from DeadEyeVR or Virtual Printality

The arrows showing swing path, face angle, and ball path are great. Very intuitive!

Also really appreciate the change in the swing detail stats display. It's much easier to digest during practice. Sometimes less is more.

That's absolutely something we want to explore for the future. I need to find the videos we posted to socials awhile back but we have some cool prototypes where you can use your own clubs, hit real balls, and use launch monitor data to power your shots in-game. Once the hardware gets better and the form factor starts to slim down more I'm sure we'll get back to fleshing those prototypes out.

While not quite a full swing or hitting a real ball, another related prototype we're working on is being able to use your real putter in-game. Just screw it on to the end of your putter and you're good to go. It's really fun to be able to swap to your actual putter to roll it around. Hopefully have some more details to share on that soon enough.

There's a limited number of keys that Meta lets us generate on demand... just happened to hit that limit but I will definitely be back with some as soon as I'm able. Should be able to get more before Christmas

Y'all have done a great job with Golf+. It will definitely replace PGA Tour 2k25 in my gaming rotation.

Shout out for the new Metro course. That is a seriously fun course.

One of things I'm actually using this for (aside from playing for fun) is to warm up for an early morning round of golf. I can't hit on the simulator to warm up while everyone else is still sleeping, so Golf+ with the DeadEyeVR attachment is the best way I can warm up prior to leaving the house. Then I get to the course, check in, spend 15-20 minutes chipping and putting, and then start my round.

When I play in the afternoon I spend a little more time warming up and utilize the sim, but this is a great alternative.

Appreciate the compliments! We work really hard to try and be the best golf experience you can have off the course. Still way too many golfers out there that haven't heard of us at all. Admittedly the whole VR experience is very tough to describe to someone who hasn't ever tried it... a common first reaction when I mention it is something like "oh, like Wii golf?" which obviously as you guys who have played it know it's not even in the same universe.

We did get a bit of extra exposure to a wider audience last week when this video dropped. Was a very neat experience getting to be a part of this. Think there is still so much to be unlocked in the whole competitive golf prep space within VR and we'll hopefully get to do more of this in the future.

Metro is pretty wild! Very fun course for 2v2 scrambles. Once your partner is safe the second guy gets to get crazy and try to bounce it off the street/buildings. We've had some very fun matches there.

The fantasy courses are getting better and better. There's a new one coming out tomorrow which is easily my favorite of the fantasy courses, and I think even makes it into my top five courses overall. The visuals are impressive, each hole has character, and it's just a ton of fun. Here's a little teaser!

Looks kind of piraty!

In today's tournament, I saved par on one of the holes when my approach shot went long, but bounced back on the green off of a nearby building. I'll have to play a practice round and try more "side bumper" shots.
