Meh. Only poll that matters comes out on Tuesday.

But the B1G is a mystery to me. There's Oregon sitting at #5, and they have one win on the season over a currently ranked team (USC, that they just beat).

And Tech has as many wins over currently ranked teams as Ohio State and Indiana combined.

College football this season is weird.

Eh. Currently #5 in the CFP with one loss. I'll take it. If Tech's due more respect than that they'll earn it on the field. Tech may not win a single playoff game, but they'll be a hard out. There's not a team in the top 12 that is going to be excited to see them on the schedule.

Best team we've ever had, in my estimation at least.

I hope A&M wins out and that Tech and A&M make the final. That is what my heart of hearts desires.

And few things in life would delight me more than Tech being a high seed in the CFP while UT stays home and gets ravaged by Utah in the Alamo Bowl.

But the idea of Longhorn fans having to board a plane to Lubbock in December to watch their team play a road playoff game against Tech?

Damn.
