To answer your question: Yes.

I'm talking about the '79 Cotton Bowl (aka the Chicken Soup) game where you played Joe Montana led ND in an icy stadium. uhhh had a 23 point lead, Montana spent a lot of time in the locker room getting IVs and chicken soup. Coach Bugs accepted a penalty, taking a field goal off the board, messing up the TD opportunity, allowing ND to score and win the game. Now that's the ultimate in stupidity.
I agree our decision was a head scratcher- but it didn't cost us the game… Coach Bugs's decision coach uhh the game.
