This is very smart scheduling by the Red Raiders. For BYU, it will feel like 10:00am in their time zone, and with coffee not allowed and a long flight the night before, they will be very tired and sleepy. Genius!

It's the pregame show on Fox. It's more popular with the kids than Gameday.

Because Fox is the channel that shows "pee wee football" games!

But it doesn't matter because the kids don't like Gsmeday.

Yes, the last time was prelude to the greatest football game ever played. They had to wait that long for the excitement to settle down.

I thought Big Noon Kickoff was a nickname for the Big-12 because that's the time the networks usually give them.

One would've thought Tubberville and Wells had sufficiently quelled the excitement but alas...

Long flight? It's only 700 miles or so- about 1.5 hours. Remember: the new Big 12 spans the continent. Plus the Zoobs like to chug Mountain Dew, which is "caffeine-friendly".

Most schools don't get to do their own scheduling. The SEC and ABC/ESPN decide A&M's schedule, but Tech is so gangsta it gets to make it's own schedule and pick it's own kickoff times! No wonder we're scared to death of the Red Raiders. Who wouldn't be?

Have you ever flown into the LBK? It may take 1.5 hours at a straight shot, but the pilots usually have to circle numerous times due to the pummeling wind and compromised visibility from the dust. Plus, the airport is crazy with outgoing and incoming flights of pizzas from Dominoes, Papa John's, etc. The plane might have to hover around a few more hours just to find a time to land.

And we may have to counter-attack the Mountain Dew intake with the cheese sticks from Spanky's. They won't be able to stop eating them, thus will feel heavy and languid come game time.

To be fair, the nasty taste went away after 5 years or so. It took another 12 years for there to be enough turnover that there was nobody on staff who remembered.

I saw this on the news last night & couldn't stop laughing at the bragging associated with this pathetic turnout!

If this was an important game for the Aggies, there would be thousands of tents already set up!
