Hadn't been to PA in 30 years and heading there Friday.

Looking for things to do with a date. Base is York, PA, and willing to travel a few hours, so I guess Baltimore and Philly are in play.

Any fun, interesting, tasty rec's are appreciated.

My fellow Aggies here set me up with Hawaii ideas including a night snorkel with mantas in Kona last month that was outstanding.

I'm a big fan of downtown Lancaster and Lititz. Especially, if you appreciate small towns with history. There's a solid restaurant in Lititz called Kole Chophouse. Great spot, some of the best steaks around.

For breakfast, in the Lancaster area, check out the Lyndon Diner. Its a family run diner and the son did lots of time as a michelin chef and came back to take over the family business. Great spot.

Other solid choices around Lancaster are Coffee Co. There are several in that area.

In downtown Lancaster and Lititz, there are some great little boutiques, shops, coffee shops, and choclatiers. Theres a market in Lancaster called the Central Market that is a great spot to check out.

Theres a ton to see and do around Lancaster that is quaint and laid back. Go to Kitchen Kettle and shop around, go check out an Amish farm tour. Ride the Saltzburg Train, get lunch at Speckled Hen Cafe or Agape. Always, always, Always, get ice cream at Fox Meadows Creamery.

In Philly, hit up Chinatown for some great dimsum. Or check out restaurants like Talula's Garden, Moshulu, or, my personal favorites Butcher and Singer for steak or Estia for Greek. Lots to see in Philly for sure.

Here's my cell if you need anything. I live near Pittsburgh but head out that way pretty often.

Baltimore is meh. Its not the greatest but if you do decide to go, stick to the areas around Fells Point and the Harbor. Gets pretty rough otherwise.

That area youll be at York, Lancaster, Lititz, is great. You might as well go to Hershey and experience that. Go to chocolate world, get the free tour. Hershey has some nice little restaurants and shops too.
