We over Thanksgiving last year, but it was just three people so I'll be no help on reservations. Here are a few quick notes I wrote for friends that were going after us:
Eiffel Tower
Gets tickets way in advance for reserved time slots.
Enter on southwest side. It was less crowded.
It's a two tier elevator to the middle so on the way up it doesn't matter which one you get on. But for coming down off the top, the line backs up for the top (highest) tier elevator and no one really goes down a floor to the next level. They just assume that's the only exit? So go down a level and we didn't even have to wait. Regular rickets were sold out so we bought the tickets with champagne tastings (even though we had a minor, it didn't make a difference and we drank his glass)
Marmottan (Monet) - go at open and go directly downstairs thru the gift shop. You may have that room to yourself. Get the 10:00 tickets and line up on the street side where it says something like priority access but really doesn't say "reserved time slots"
St Chappelle. Get reservations for the first time slot of the day. We had 1:00pm and didn't get in til 1:45pm as it had backed up all day.
For the ride home, arrive at CDG early. They had two border agents for 800 people. You'll go thru border patrol first to check passports. Then take a train to your gate area. We left from Terminal 2E where we had passports checked. Then train to L gates where we went thru actual security area.
Look into VIP service and skip all lines. 600
We also enjoyed the Napoleon tomb museum and just casually strolling around. Louvre is cool, of course.
