Has anybody ever been here? The wife wants to go in late April for our anniversary. Just starting to do some research on it.

The hotel has great reviews. If you are looking for a more luxury experience, the "Waves" would not really fit the bill. Iberostar has several categories, Waves being the more family-friendly, budget friendly option. "Selection" is a step up. "JOIA" is the highest end, usually adults only.

There is one restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner and it is buffet. Just want to point that out in case that matters to you.

They do have a "Selection" resort near Marbella, but its about 90 minutes from the airport.

Thanks for the info. We are going to give it a try. The plan is to fly into Madrid and spend three nights three days there. Then rent a car and drive down to the coast and spend four nights at the resort. Then drive back to Madrid and stay one night and fly out the next morning.
