Not our thing, but I've heard it's an awesome place for snorkel and scuba.

If you rent a truck or car to go snorkeling, DO NOT leave anything of value in the vehicle and do leave the windows rolled down if you park at any of the dive/snorkel sites. The snorkeling and scuba sites are famous for the level of crime against property left in vehicles that the police seem pretty ambivalent about actually trying to do anything about (not unlike Austin PD and Zilker Park). The rental companies will probably tell you the same, and at least in the past, I had heard that some of them excluded coverage of broken windows from their waiver coverage if you left the windows rolled up at a dive site. No idea if that is still the case or not.

We eneded up walking around Kralendijk and finding 2 good restaurants to have lunch and dinner at. In between, we took a taxi to Sorobon Beach and had a great time. Nice beach with beautiful water.

My faves are: Patagonia, It Rains Fishes, and Karel's. The food scene in Bonaire has really gotten good.
