Annual RV trip to Colorado for 2 weeks. Pikes peak, Cheyenne zoo, wolf sanctuary, cripple creek, fishing the Rio.

Madeira Portugal 8 days
Hiking , driving to all the major viewpoints on the island,
The beaches are mostly rock pebbles not sand but we will check those out also

Staying in Funchal

Family of 4 with two high school aged kids in tow

I have a pretty ambitious itinerary planned but if anyone has any can't miss things to.see I would be glad to listen

Family road trip from DFW area to Sioux Falls, Badlands, Custer State Park, Colorado Springs then back. Been planning this one for awhile

Not very exciting but San Antonio to enjoy the cool weather.

When in Paris, go to The Bombardier. British Pub.

Glacier NP. Kalispell, Whitefish MT. Fly fishing trip. Whitewater rafting, hiking etc. can't wait.

Make sure you surf the fence at the edge of the runway in St. Maarten. If not that adventurous/stupid, then at least take in the bar that's there. Fantastic plane spotting.

Started the month flying back from London, and have a trip to PDX to go hiking at the end of the month.

We plan on taking a cab to Maho Beach to plane watch and then to a quieter (hopefully) beach nearby!

The Haitian wings at the Blue ***** Bar in Philipsburg are craveable. There is also a cool cheese shop on the east side of town if the cruise ship will let you bring it on board.

Taking my granddaughter to Sand Dollar Island in North Carolina

Leaving Sunday and headed to Amsterdam for 3 days, then to Berlin and south to Munich on a bus tour with church group for 10 days. Focus will be on Martin Luther and the Reformation. Staying an extra few days in Munich then flying home from Frankfurt. First time to travel in Europe.

Barcelona at the very end of the month, then spilling over into July with London and Wimbledon. So psyched about Wimbledon, mainly.

St John USVI with a day trip over to Jost Van Dyke BVI as well.

We did just return from Universal Studios Orlando...stayed at the new Helios hotel and went to the new Epic park with the grandson. Epic was great. Hotel was average and a bit disappointing.

How old are your kids? If they are old enough, you HAVE to go canyoning. It was one of the best experiences of my life! So beautiful and so thrilling.

Also, check out online videos of the flights landings in Funchal! Wicked cool!! And dangerous.

Make sure you hit up the natural pools as well! If you're kids can do very adventurous hikes, go big and do Pico do Areeiro to Pico Ruivo hike. We did it and as soon as we got back to our hotel, I booked a spa appointment for the following morning bc I was hurting!

Madeira is such a beautiful island you're going to love it! Also goood luck with your manual rental car. The hills are so steep we stalled out several times and were rolling down screaming ohhh shiiiiit and my husband is a really good driver. So God speed!

Yes I made sure to get an automatic transmission

The peak to peak hike is only open for first 1.5 miles due to fire last August

But it allows you to see sunrise and do stairway to heaven portion

Gonna do some other hikes and definitely natural pools and observation decks


Gonna go the cable car and garden in Funchal

So much to do and can't wait

Milan -> Florence -> Rome.

The main reason we are going this year is to experience the Jubilee. However, our time in Rome is the shortest part of our trip in an effort to avoid being in huge crowds every day. We're going to Rome to pass through the holy doors and for a Papal audience. We've seen all the other Rome highlights on previous trips.

I've been once before. Small quaint little town. Look up Island Ferry Adventures to book Sand Dollar Island and they have other tour options also. It's a short trip...,like 2 hours total. We stay in a bed and breakfast. Very walkable and historic place.
