I have teenage daughters not much older than your son.

We went around Christmas and had steaks at Prime. The food is great but the views (of both the fountains and the, ahem, scenery) are just as good. It's an experience worth having with him.

Went to Herbs & Rye last night. What a great place. 1/2 price steaks and good cocktails. Darkest place I've ever been in my life. Until your eyes adjust you have to be careful of walking around!

Four of us split two steak, Brussel sprout side, calamari, Cacio Pepe, and a flat bread.

Smith & Wollensky at The Venetian! Great atmosphere and surprised no one has said anything about it yet!

Can echo this - dined at Prime with kids and wife several years ago. Food and service were fantastic, the view of the fountain is magnificent, just a solid all around experience. It is high-end, all the men/boys wore jackets (our option).

Will also echo Bouchon - always visit at least once every time in Vegas.

Bouchon fans- what is your favorite dish? I am in town for a conference and have a reservation for tomorrow night. Everything on the menu looks delicious. Give me your recommendations!

Sister spot Cleaver's is great. Half price steaks. Good off strip place.
