We are tossing around the idea of an all-inclusive in the Riveria Maya area for the last week of May this year. We are a family of five, with 3 kids aged 10, 11 & 14. Finding a resort that accommodates a group of 5 is turning out to be a headache. Does TexAgs have any recommendations? We would like to keep it under $4.000 without flights. Thanks!

I know of a few resorts in RM and the Cancun area that can accommodate your family and stay within budget.

I am attending a wedding in May at The Fives Beaches and they have a bunch of 2 and 3 bedroom options. Haven't been so can't comment on how good it is but definitely family friendly accomodations.

The Fives is a great choice for larger families!

Thank you for the offer. We have a TA in the family that we will use if we go that route. Part of the fun is doing the research and planning for us!

What is there for kids to do? I looked at their pictures and while it's a nice property, nothing stood out for kids to me unless I missed something.

I know it has a small kids club for the little kiddos mainly and also a family area with pool and playground.
They also have an activities schedule for the kids all over the resort and not just in the club like at the pool on the beach like making sand castles or movie night. There is also ping pong, shuffleboard, chess, basketball/tennis courts. My clients who went most recently were pleasantly surprised at the kids activities and they even brought their kids pool floats for the small lazy river.

I wouldn't say it's the best of the best kids club/activities but if you're looking for the 2,3,4 bedroom style residences at an all-inclusive resort then it works out great.
