Looking for recs on where to stay that would be around the bars and restaurants. West End or West Bay.

Is there an area that would be mostly walkable or would we need to taxi around?

We stayed at Caribe Tesoro in West Bay and really enjoyed it. Reasonably priced and included breakfast. They have a bar and restaurant with really good food. Everything is pretty much walkable in West Bay, but you'd need to catch a water taxi or regular taxi to West End. The water taxi would pick us up right at the dock of the hotel. Think it was like $5 each way. West Bay has the best water/beach, but West End has more bars/nightlife, so it's fun to bounce back and forth. We love it down there.

We stayed at Paradise in September, it was a good, 3 star hotel. Nice location, and walkable. The Kimpton nearby looked very nice, but ours was a work trip so we had no choice where to stay. The water was gorgeous. I think you can walk most of it, and maybe take a taxi or arrange transport later in the night if you prefer.
