British security is a joke and mornings at Heathrow can be awful. We were in Europe for a month two years ago and they would not allow my son's fruit/yogurt food pouches through without a written medical prescription. Once my doctor stopped laughing he wrote a prescription stating that my son needed them or he would die of malnutrition

I just got clear (with tsa pre ) bc of credit card perks and this is the feeling I got… not only at IAH but at SNA also. Is this common ? I feel like it would've been faster and less stressful just waiting in the tsa pre line. I suppose if it's over 15 ppl deep clear may have been faster.

TSA Touchless ID is the best thing going right now if you can get it and if they have it where you're flying from. I've used it several times at DFW and DCA. Zero people in that line, even when the regular precheck line has 30-40 people stacked up.

Like most good things, I'm sure it won't last.

faster? sometimes.

stressful? i think it's easier than TSA Pre just because you don't need an ID (most of the time). the old terminals were pretty buggy but had good luck with the newer ones.

I used the touchless line at EWR a few weeks ago. It was great. I still haven't felt like clear was worth it over plain precheck.
